Say Yes AGAIN in Times Square

February 14, Times Square, 18hrs ...

Yellow cabs sounding the horn as always, people, so many people walking, spectaculars illuminated all along the street, the usual bustle.

A small awning served to deliver to the pre-registered couples 2 rings (one for each) asking to be carried to enter the area of the ceremony (the red stairs on the ridge of Broadway and the 7th streets)

Women in brides dress, smiling couples, dads, moms, children. Around 250 couples decided to say yes again, before tourists, onlookers and television media gathered.

The ceremony began with a song performed by two members of the Broadway staging "Anastasia" followed by the judge's words asking couples to face each other to say their love vows, laughs of nervousness, looks of complicity, some tears between those present ended with a massive applause and kisses having given the yes.

Among the couples gathered there were those who had been together for many years, those who are just beginning, those who come from other marriages and who are starting again, but what was most important was love.

The wonderful thing about a February 14 is to see the streets with people holding flowers to meet a loved one, couples embraced, and feel for a day a different vibe in the people. Although the reality is that we do not need a specific day to show love.

We show love with our dedication from day to day to the other, with a kiss in the morning, a message at noon with a love you, prepare food for the family, stay at home with children and take care that nothing lack, love we live day by day.

We live in a society that tells us that to feel love is corny, or that love is something fleeting, I believe that love is the most incredible thing that we can experience, it feeds us, it transforms us, it makes us feel alive.

In these times of so much uncertainty, the best we can do is to live love, without fears, ties or labels. There will never be anything more extraordinary than a manifestation of love.

Now more than ever, I firmly believe what the Beatles affirmed by singing "All you need is love"
