ONE

A year ago we started this adventure, together hand in hand.

It has been a year full of changes, of knowing ourselves more, of sharing the joys, fears, dreams ... and little by little forming a home together.

A year that has taught us the true meaning of sharing, of seeing in the same direction without losing who we are in the individual, to trust in the other, to respect each other, that we do not always have to agree on everything but find a middle point always.

A year in which you have always held my hand, that you do not release me in my hardest moments, in which you always listen to me and try to understand, in which, being so different, you always find something that pleases us both, something that motivates us.

A year in which you have taught me that to love is to open up and trust in the other, in which you always remind me that my voice is valid, that my dreams, however crazy they may sound, are always valid and that I must work for them, one year where you are always drive and motivation.

Marriage is not just signing a paper, that is the beginning, it also requires a lot of work, commitment, not seeing the other person as our property but we have decided to live together and look towards the same direction.

I have always believed that we are complete people that we do not need to be complemented, but that all we are is what we share with the other, which makes us both grow.

And so I believe that love is to choose us every day, listen to each other, understand each other, find points of interest for both, trace a path and a common life plan and work as a team.

I believe that love is to understand the dreams of the other and to give impulse to achieve them. That there may be battles outside the home but that inside we will look for how to solve them, that I do not stop being me to be us. It is respect for the other person always, it is commitment to a project as a whole, it is knowing that no matter what happens you can count on the other person, it is being a team.

In this year I have been lucky enough to be with a man who inspires me every day, I have witnessed his growth in all areas and I am proud to be the woman who walks by his side, the man who made me believe that love is possible, love is beautiful, it is not a fairy tale as we get to say, but it is a story that we write as we want, always with love.
